Busuu needed to spend less on acquisition

Language-learning app Busuu grew their user base by investing heavily in paid ads, scaling at (almost) any cost. But at a certain point, growth plateaued. Budgets tightened. They started looking for more sustainable growth avenues.

I scaled demand capture with content

I came on board to prove the value of capturing demand with SEO content. I balanced moving fast with more ambitious content ideas to increase non-branded traffic and registrations.
